Define Yourself!

The R.A2.D. Triad combines the principles of Rest, Activity, Attitude and Diet to help you form an individualized plan to achieve your goals by keeping in mind that you need a plan that is unique to your body and your lifestyle.  A cookie-cutter approach will not give you the best results.

About Chrissy

Chrissy Zmijewski at the Beach

Since 1998, I have coached and trained hundreds of people to reach their health, fitness, and lifestyle goals.  I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Washington University in St. Louis, specializing in relaxation techniques, self-hypnosis, eating disorders, exercise addiction, and mental health.

I am also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist and have helped clients reach a variety of goals: from losing weight to recovering from injuries and improving athletic performance.

And in my “spare” time, I am a Track and Field athlete, a Professional Fitness Model, and Figure & Fitness Competitor.  Professionally and personally, I know the process of setting a goal and doing what it takes to make that dream a reality.  That dream comes into being by repeating little steps on a daily basis until that goal is reached.  And even more important than the destination is WHAT you do and WHO you become during that journey.

Mission

Of the many things I could do in life, my coaching business is my passion, as I feel an immense amount of joy from seeing others reach their goals and accomplishing things they never thought were possible. Not everyone grows up in an environment that is encouraging and I love being the one to encourage them and help them see that their goals are possible. And when their dreams become a reality, a light shines within them. They are beaming and to see that light, that joy, is truly one of the best things about what I do.

Not only is coaching a joy for me, but I believe it is a necessary component in our society.  There is so much information available about nutrition and exercise, but knowledge does not equal change.  My coaching is focused on taking that information and helping each client incorporate that into their lives by taking daily steps to reach their health and fitness goals.

Committment
Most importantly, I practice what I preach.  I am uncomfortable asking someone else to do something I am unwilling to do.  I keep workout and food logs just like the rest of my clients because I’m just like you in that I get results by following the protocols that I prescribe for you!
